Meet The Band
I was born in 1990 in Mayaguez Puerto Rico to a musical family. Soon at the age of 3, I began my calling as a drummer. By 6 I played actively in church and by 13 I was already playing in bands making original punk prog music. Later in 2010, after developing as a studio freelance drummer and private instructor, I went to study at The Conservatory Of Music Of Puerto Rico where I developed my reading and theory skills. Also had the amazing opportunity to play with the faculty, composed of world renown Latin jazz artists, such as Edie Gomez, Luis Marin among others.

I always had the fixed vision of playing drums for a living and letting music become my voice to the world. I try to reach where words can't, through my passion. That's why no gig is too small for me. I'll play every show like if it was sold out! I want to take people beyond their giants everytime they hear me play. That state of mind that makes you say, "damn he's having a great time!" I enjoy creating that atmosphere live and only hope to inspire others to pursue their passions and always put in their best efforts. Cause like Holton Buggs said, "How You Do Anything, Is How You Do Everything."

I'm that positive mindset dude. I strive to constantly learn on this journey called life, cause there's no time to waste. Love psychology and all forms of art. Pattern and texture freak. Never did great in sports unless it had a ramp or a set of stairs to jump. Science is awesome obviously! Holistic believer. I try to always focus on my strengths without comparing weaknesses.

I was born on January 11, 1991, in Mayaguez Puerto Rico. At the age of 8, my dad bought me a guitar. That is when I first discovered my passion. I started by playing local talent shows with Orlando Muniz as early as the 6th grade. It was then that Orlando and I connected musically and became lifetime friends/brothers.

I’ve played in many bands with over the years. Even won first place in a few talent shows together. We’ve also played in a few church bands that allowed us to branch out and play shows around the island. Those are the opportunities that allowed me to meet new people, connect with other awesome musicians, and really experience the music scene.

For a while, I was planning on becoming a chef. But my love of music was so strong that I knew music is what I was meant to do. So I began studying music at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. This is where I first met Steven Rodriguez. Around that time one of my favorite things to do was to spend hours by myself playing guitar in a beautiful spot in Pena Blanca.

Unfortunately, a dramatic turn of events caused me to stop university and go live with my mom in Connecticut. I lived in Connecticut for a year before my life took a big turn after my mother past away. This was a very dark moment for me. During that hard time in my life music became the only thing I was sure of. Music was all that I wanted to do. So I moved back to Puerto Rico and played in another band with Orlando called Cezgo.

I took a music break after cezgo and moved to Yellowstone national park in Wyoming for 4 months. After that, I moved to Montana and had the amazing experience of skiing in the best place in the united states. Then I moved to Mccall Idaho, one of the most beautiful places in the united states.

Fast forward to now, I am on this amazing journey, playing in A Place Beyond Giants next to my brothers Orlando Muniz and Steven Rodriguez. Playing in this band is like a dream come true. Making music that I love next to the people that I love.
I was born in 1993 in Mayaguez Puerto Rico. At the age of 4, I knew what I wanted to be for the rest of my life. You guessed right! I wanted to be a professional magician. It was at that age I saw my first ever magic show while watching t.v and begged my parents for a magic set. They got me magic sets for most of my birthdays and holidays. So even though I was born with music in my veins, it wasn't something that really intrigued me until I got older. I did grow up in somewhat of a musical family. My mom used to be in the school band and my grandad played guitar and cuatro (A Native Puerto Rican Instrument.) I never met him, but I grew up listening to stories about how great he was at playing. I also remember listening to my uncle playing electric guitar.

At the age of 6 I started playing the piano and by 8 my brother and I got our first guitars and we took a couple of lessons. It was during middle school where I started filling my empty time with things to do. I was up and down on my skateboard, got my 1st unicycle, learned to juggle, started working as a clown at friends birthdays parties, did lots and lots of magic, practiced knife throwing, and learned fire eating. I learned pretty much everything that has to do with circuses.

I did many things, but it wasn’t until the age of 15 that I started taking music seriously and started focusing more on my guitar skills. Shortly after taking guitar lessons again, I started a band with my cousin and played original and cover songs. We played in theaters, festivals, school events and a party or two. But it was then that I realized how much I love playing and creating music.

After graduating high school I got accepted at the Interamerican University in Puerto Rico where I majored in classical guitar. In 2014 I started a small project with my good friend Cesar Rodriguez. That project is now known as A Place Beyond Giants. We worked on that project for about a year until I made the decision to move to Orlando Florida. When I moved in 2015 I thought that was the end of APBG. But after 2 years of living in Florida, I had the privilege of reconnecting with Orlando Muniz and Chris Vazquez.

Now we are all on this incredible journey together. On the road to living the big dream that all of us had as kids.
